When finishing a pool with PVC film, it is necessary to treat the base on which the waterproofing covering will then "lie".
Before lining the inner surface of the pool with film, a synthetic underlay must first be placed. The geotextile compensates for all unevenness, levelling the pool floor, so to speak. It also prevents direct contact of the PVC film with the concrete base or soil and protects it from mechanical damage, punctures, etc. This way the inner lining will last longer.
The geotextile is highly resistant to thermo-oxidative ageing and aggressive chemical effects of the environment, is not prone to rotting, fungus or mould, and is unaffected by rodents.
The structure of the material is such that it easily lets moisture through but completely retains soil and sand particles. The fabric is not subject to organic decomposition and does not release toxic or chemically harmful compounds into the environment.
