When water freezes it turns into ice and can damage the pool walls. To reduce ice pressure on the pool walls, winter (compensation) floats made of polyethylene are used.
Includes an "S"-shaped hook for conveniently linking several floats into a chain. The required number of floats in the chain depends on the pool's water surface area.
Operating principle:
- The float floats on the water surface;
- When the water freezes, the ice pressure is fully "absorbed" by the float rather than the pool walls.
As a result, your pool will remain undamaged after winter frosts.
