Measurement of salt and chlorides.

MINIKIT testers are designed for quick testing, mainly based on titrimetric methods.

Features of these testers:

Testing methods: Tablet count method:

Tablets are added to a specific (known) volume of water until the water changes colour. The number of tablets used is entered into a simple formula to calculate the test result. The measuring range can be extended by increasing the water volume.

Speed test: this test is based on back titration.

Whereas in the first test the tablets were added to the water, in this test it is the other way round. A certain number of tablets is first placed in the test tube, and then water is slowly added until it changes color (for example, from red to blue). The result is obtained from the amount of water added to the tube.

Yes/no test: the yes/no test shows whether a specific ingredient is present in the water and/or whether its concentration is above or below the required level.

Turbidity method: a two-section calibration tube is filled with water and a reagent tablet is added. The reagent creates a level of turbidity proportional to the concentration of the measured parameter.

The kit contains enough tablets for 30 tests and full instructions for use.
