CCE Chronosoft mortise automatic door bottom, 830 mm long (Italy), for wooden and armoured doors. Hydraulic damping delays the drop so the seal only comes down once the door is fully closed, blocking smoke, fire, noise, dust, draughts and insects. Travel is 12 mm; the seal is self-extinguishing silicone, the profile is 6060 T6 aluminium alloy, springs are galvanised steel and pushers are PA6 with 20% glass fibre; it is fixed with matt stainless steel face brackets. It holds an IFT Rosenheim sound-insulation certificate and has been tested for 200 000 cycles.

How to choose
How it works. An automatic drop seal is mortised into the bottom edge of the leaf and drops when the door closes, sealing the gap under the door.
Length. The seal length in millimetres is in the name — choose it to match the leaf width.
Installation. A mortise seal needs a groove in the bottom edge of the leaf.
