Automatic door drop seals

An automatic drop seal is mortised into the bottom edge of the door leaf. When the door closes, the seal drops and closes the gap between the leaf and the floor.

Here are C.C.E. (Italy) mortise automatic drop seals — Chronosoft, Trend Plus and Trend Seal, length 530–1030 mm; the length of each seal is given in its name. Chronosoft drops smoothly with hydraulic damping only after the door is fully closed and protects against smoke, noise, dust, draughts and insects. Chronosoft is fixed with face brackets of satin stainless steel; its seal is noise-reducing, made of self-extinguishing silicone. Suitable for wooden and armoured doors. Trend Plus protects against draughts, smoke and noise. Trend Seal is a compact model with a gradual drop: first on the hinge side, then on the handle side. Choose a seal to match the leaf width.
