CCE Trend Seal is a compact Italian-made mortise automatic door bottom, 730 mm, that reduces noise and keeps out draughts and insects. It suits wooden, aluminium, armoured and plastic doors; the seal drops gradually (hinge side first, then handle side) with 14 mm of travel, and the springs are galvanised steel. It can be shortened by up to 200 mm on the side opposite the button, holds an IFT Rosenheim sound-insulation certificate and has been tested for 200 000 cycles. Supplied with the threshold and a decorative end cap; fixing screws are not included.

How to choose

How it works. An automatic drop seal is mortised into the bottom edge of the leaf and drops when the door closes, sealing the gap under the door.

Length. The seal length in millimetres is in the name — choose it to match the leaf width.

Installation. A mortise seal needs a groove in the bottom edge of the leaf.
